Executive Summary
In a move that initiates its entry into the interventional device market for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Boston Scientific (endoscopic interventions; other minimally invasive medical devices) got exclusive distribution rights in most of Europe, Japan, and other major markets outside of the US to privately held Enteric Medical Technologies' Enteryx to treat the disease.
