Law firms representing investors in shareholder class action lawsuits announce investigations into potential fiduciary wrongdoing within hours of announcements that publicly-traded companies, such as Astex Pharmaceuticals and Onyx Pharmaceuticals, have been acquired. The filing of a lawsuit is inevitable and the trend may grow beyond US borders.
