While Ranbaxy is still set to become the first company to sell a generic version of Pfizer's Lipitor (atorvastatin calcium) in the US, starting in November 2011, two more generics firms have recently filed ANDAs for the product. It is unclear whether Pfizer will initiate litigation against the newest ANDA filers.
