Executive Summary
DNA-based diagnostics company Cancer Genetics Inc. netted $14.9mm through the public sale of 1.6mm common shares (including a partial overallotment exercise) at $10. Cancer Genetics will use $1mm of the proceeds to fund its initial investment in OncoSpire Genomics, the biomarker joint venture it created with the Mayo Clinic earlier this year.
