Noxxon Pharma AG (kidney disease and ophthalmologic therapeutics) has raised €37mm ($50mm) through the closing of its Series C venture round. Current backers Deutsche Effecten-und Wechsel-Beteiligungsgesellschaft (lead), FCP OP Medical BioHealth-Trends, the Dieckell Group, and new investors TVM Capital, Sofinnova Partners, Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners, Seventure, Down Venture Capital, IBG Beteiligungsgesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt, and VC Fonds Berlin participated. Representatives from TVM Capital, Sofinnova, and Edmond de Rothschild will take seats on the company's board of directors.
