Cancer drug company Allos Therapeutics netted $48.9mm through the private placement of 2.35mm Series A exchangeable preferred shares priced at $22.10 apiece to Warburg Pincus Private Equity (2.2mm shares) and FrontPoint Healthcare Horizons (90k shares). After 15 months, each preferred share will automatically convert into ten common shares.
