In a reverse merger, IntraBiotics Pharmaceuticals (antibacterial and antifungal pharmaceuticals) acquired Apothogen, a virtual drug development company formed in 2001 by PPD Inc. and JP Morgan to in-license late-stage pharmaceuticals to commercialize. IntraBiotics paid with 450k of its common shares, worth $1.8mm based on the average trading price of $3.97.
