Executive Summary
Lion Bioscience (information management software for life sciences research and development) has acquired privately owned US-based bioinformatics company NetGenics. Lion issued 1.1mm shares of its stock in exchange for all of NetGenics' equity for a value of approximately $16.3mm (based on the average market price of Lion stock). The stock will be subject to a lock-up restriction for 180 days following the acquisition.
