Executive Summary
RJ Reynolds spin-off Targacept raised $30.4mm in a private placement. EuclidSR Partners led the round, and Burrill & Co., Advent Venture Partners, Auriga Ventures, CDCInnovation, Genavent, and Societe Generale Asset Management Finance, and Longleaf Venture Fund also participated. RJR still holds a minority stake in the company.
