Pyrosequencing acquires patent applications from Eurona

Executive Summary

Pyrosequencing (develops and manufactures systems for automated DNA sequence analysis) has acquired two patent applications from Eurona Medical (uses genetic information to accelerate accurate drug development). Pyrosequencing will use the patent applications to obtain single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) genotyping information used in human diagnosis and in the prediction of drug response, especially in the area of cardiovascular disease.
