NanoMed Pharmaceuticals thinks it has found a way to get lipids to fulfill their potential as delivery vehicles, shielding the drugs they contain from cellular mechanisms responsible for drug resistance. The start-up aims to leverage its know-how to treat cancers notoriously resistant to chemotherapy.
