PhytoMedical Technologies (US) has announced that Dr James Lynch, formerly a member of the scientific advisory board, has been appointed president and chief executive officer. Greg Wujek, PhytoMedical's outgoing president and CEO, will continue to serve as director. Dr Lynch most recently provided independent advisory services to several biopharmaceutical companies. He previously served as vice-president of global business development at Savient Pharmaceuticals, and was a member of the management team responsible for launching Reliant Pharmaceuticals, a speciality company which was sold to GlaxoSmithKline in 2007.
