UK ABHI elects new chairman

Executive Summary
The Association of British Healthcare Industries has appointed Gary Stapleton as chairman. Mr Stapleton is managing director of 3M Health Care UK and had been vice chair of the ABHI for the past year. He replaces Geoff Cox. ABHI chief executive Peter Ellingworth said that Mr Stapleton's appointment represented the final step in the process of modernising the ABHI's governance process making the association "more democratic and representative of industry than ever before".
