Australia consults on use of animals for studying new devices

Australia’s National Health and Medical Research Council is seeking comment on draft guidelines developed to assist animal ethics committees when considering applications for the use of animals to train interventional medical practitioners in new techniques and medical equipment1,2. Stakeholders have until 15 May to submit feedback.
