S. Korea FDA Faults Seven Designated Imported-Drugs Inspectors

South Korea's FDA says it has taken action against seven private institutes it relies on to check imported medical goods for harmful ingredients or metals. One of the institutes was removed from KFDA's list of designated agencies and another six were told to correct mistakes. KFDA and the Health Ministry inspected the agencies and found the seven failed to follow procedures and proper methods when inspecting herbal materials.
