Japan Approves Bioacess’s Bone Marrow Collection Kits

Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare Feb. 26 approved a bone marrow collection system manufactured by U.S. medical device maker Bioaccess. The application was filed by Baxter on behalf of Bioaccess. The product also obtained medical insurance coverage. Baxter's decision to halt production of bone marrow collection systems currently used in Japan led MHLW to grant Bioaccess' product an accelerated review and approval.
