Novartis And Beijing Hospital Sign Agreement On Clinical Trial Collaboration

China Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research and Beijing Hospital have signed an agreement framework on clinical trial collaboration. Under the agreement, Novartis will help the hospital set up international standardized trial protocols and fund clinical researchers for domestic and overseas training. In addition, the firm promises to accord priority to Beijing Hospital in conducting its trial projects, while the hospital will give preference to Novartis' projects. The complementary collaboration will allow both partners to improve the efficiency of new drug clinical research as well as guarantee drug safety and effectiveness.
