Guangdong City Builds Up Trading Base For Medical Devices

Foshan in Guangdong province has identified the medical device sector as one of its strategic industries. The city is developing a medical device base that will provide trading, information and logistics as well as serve as an exhibition venue for medical devices, pharmaceutical manufacturing machinery and packing materials. It will also improve the process for centralized purchasing and equipment tenders to lower transaction costs. As the first national medical device industry base, Foshan is getting strong backing from the Guangdong government.
