Topsun Puts Cold Medicine On The Market Again

Topsun Science and Technology has confirmed that "Black and White," its popular OTC cough and cold medicine, is back on the market. Bayer signed an agreement to acquire the drug in 2006, but the one-year contract, pending authorities' approval, had since expired. According to a Topsun official, price was a key factor in the re-negotiation due to the rising yuan against the dollar; the firm will lose out almost 100 million yuan if it abides by the original terms.
