Slovakia's health ministry is preparing to implement an eHealth programme which should make the national healthcare system more efficient; its estimated cost is SK7.6 billion ($334.5 million) for the five years to 2013. One of its main objectives is to reduce costs and return the savings to the system to improve the quality of services.
