Pfizer makes appointment to its oncology business unit

Pfizerhas named Dr Mace Rothenberg senior vice-president of clinical development and medical affairs for its oncology business unit. He will be responsible for overseeing clinical R&D activities, as well as postmarketing evaluation and monitoring for all oncology products. Dr Rothenberg joins from Vanderbilt, where he was professor of medicine at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Ingram professor of cancer research at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.
