Polpharma Appoints CEO

Executive Summary
Poland based leading generics player, Polpharma, has appointed Dr. Maurice Chagnaud as CEO. Chagnaud joins Polpharma with over 20 years' experience in generics, OTC medicines and biosimilars. For 12 years he was responsible for Merck Generics' commercial operations in France and was also general manager of Merck Generics Italia. He has held various positions at TEVA, where he was general manager of TEVA and Iva France, chief commercial officer of TEVA Europe and senior vice-president in Central and Eastern Europe. Recently he was President Europe- Russia and CIS and global head of inhalation strategy at Lupin.
