Galena names VP, business development

Galena Biopharma, a biopharmaceutical company developing oncology treatments, has named Joseph Lasaga vice-president of business development and alliance management. He will report to president and CEO, Mark W Schwartz. Prior to joining Portland, Oregon-based Galena, Mr Lasaga spent four years at Nektar Therapeutics, most recently as senior director of business development.
