The US-based company Perrigo has bought the Mexican firm Laboratorios Diba for $25 million. The deal should boost Perrigo's annual sales by around $15 million and increase its portfolio in Mexico with 200 products. Diba, a privately owned company based in Guadalajara, specialises in store-brand OTCs and prescription pharmaceuticals, including ophthalmics, hormonals and antibiotics.
