Going "Beyond the Pill" could hold the key to pharma companies, patients and payers negotiating a truce in the healthcare cost wars. If successfully executed the strategy could enable all sides to win. However, in foraying out to this new frontier, pharma companies need to be aware of a range of potential legal and regulatory pitfalls, from drawing up appropriate contracts in this terra incognita, to negotiating the minefield of direct to consumer communication.
