Wilmington, North Carolina-based contract research organization PPD has named Patrick Bennett executive director of laboratory operations for a new biomarker services division of its bioanalytical laboratory. Mr Bennett joins the CRO from Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he was global strategic marketing director for pharma/biopharma. Before Thermo Fisher, Mr Bennett was vice-president of business development and marketing, and executive laboratory director at Tandem Labs.
