Protagonist names chief scientific officer

Emerging biotechnology company Protagonist Therapeutics, which develops disulfide-rich peptides (DRPs), has appointed Dr David Liu chief scientific officer, effective 30 May 2013. Prior to joining Menlo Park, California-based Protagonist, Dr Liu was chief operating officer at biotechnology company Trenovus, as well as a strategic advisor to several other biotechnology companies.
