Cure Parkinson's Trust names chair

Executive Summary
The Cure Parkinson's Trust, a charity which aims to fund and facilitate work towards a cure for Parkinson's disease, has appointed Ken Mulvany as chair. Prior to joining the charity Mr Mulvany served as chief executive officer of UK-based biotech company Proximagen, which was acquired by Upsher-Smith laboratories in 2012. Sir Richard Nichols, former Lord Mayor of London and co-founder of the charity, has stepped down after eight years as chair. Initiatives orchestrated by CPT are: Linked Clinical Trials initiative, Sense-Park initiative and Parkinson's Movement.
