Dr Karin Dorrepaal has been co-opted onto Barcelona, Spain-based Almirall's board as an independent member, effective 1 January 2012. Dr Dorrepaal is the first woman to join Almirall's board of 10 members, and has 25 years' professional experience including top-level positions in the pharmaceutical sector.
