Marvin Garovoy joins Medgenics as CMO

Medgenics, the developer of Biopump, a novel technology for the sustained production and delivery of therapeutic proteins in patients using their own tissue, has appointed Dr Marvin Garovoy chief medical officer. Dr Garovoy has been acting CMO at the company since January, and previously served at companies including Genentech, Xoma, Hyperion Therapeutics and Arriva Pharmaceuticals.
