Icahn resurfaces in proxy fight with Forest

The activist investor Carl Icahn – well known for his propensity to renew proxy fights year after year in order to push for boardroom changes – is at it once again. He has stated his intention to nominate four candidates to the Forest Laboratories board, nearly a year after an effort to gain board seats failed. He also said he would like to inspect certain company records.
