Pfizer and Brigham Young reach 'amicable' settlement in Celebrex lawsuit

Pfizer said on 1 May that it "reached an amicable settlement on confidential terms" with Brigham Young University and biochemistry professor Daniel Simmons in a 6-year-old lawsuit pertaining to Dr Simmons disputed contribution to the blockbuster pain and arthritis drug Celebrex (celecoxib).
