Herb Cross, Affymax's vice-president of finance and chief accounting officer, will become the company's chief financial officer, effective 4 March. His appointment will coincide with the departure of Paul Cleveland, executive vice-president and CFO, who will resign from his position to assume a new role in a private equity firm.
