Sanofi-Aventis has appointed Dr Anna Yarvits director general of the Russian branch of Zentiva, its subsidiary in the Czech Republic. She succeeds Hugo Fry. Dr Yarvits was most recently director general of the Russian branch of Ratiopharm; she has also been director of business development at Nycomed's Russian subsidiary.
