Egis's sales fell by 7% to Ft56.1 billion ($250 million) in the first half of its financial year ended on 31 March. More than half of the decline resulted from unfavourable currency exchange rates, the company said. Its pre-tax profit fell by 17% to Ft9.5 billion.
