The National Assembly, Bulgaria's parliament, has appointed Professor Anna-Maria Borisova as the new health minister. Nominated at the beginning of this month, she replaces Dr Bozhidar Nanev who resigned in March amid accusations of unfair purchasing of Roche's antiviral Tamiflu (oseltavivir) last autumn (scripnews,com, 8 April 2010).
