Norgine's Moviprep licensed for Canada

Executive Summary
Norginehas concluded its second licensing agreement in the past three months for its bowel cleansing product Moviprep. It has licensed Moviprep to Medical Futures for marketing in Canada, in return for an undisclosed upfront payment and royalties on sales. Medical Futures, a privately held Canadian company set up in 2000, already markets a range of gastrointestinal products, including the herbal extract Iberogast for non-ulcer dyspepsia and irritable bowel syndrome, and the probiotic treatment for diarrhoea, Florastar. In October, Norgine licensed Moviprep to Ajinomoto (Scrip Online, October 15th, 2008).
