New appointment at Dr Reddy's Laboratories

Dr Reddy's Laboratorieshas appointed Umang Vohra chief financial officer. Mr Vohra, who was deputy CFO, joined the company in 2002 from PepsiCo. His promotion is part of the company's leadership development and transition programme. Dr Reddy's former CFO, Saumen Chakraborty, has taken over a newly created position of president of corporate and global generics operations. Mr Chakraborty will lead the product development, manufacturing and supply chain operations of the generics business, along with corporate functions such as quality, regulatory, corporate medical services and pharmacovigilance.
