Executive Summary
GVK Biosciences, a contract research organisation, has appointed Professor Tarun Khanna to its board of directors. He is the Jorge Paulo Lemann Professor at the Harvard Business School, where he has been a member of the strategy group since 1993. Dr Khanna heads the strategy course in the Harvard MBA programme and the strategy, leadership and governance executive education programme. He also lectures and consults with companies and governments worldwide. Dr Khanna, who serves on the advisory boards of several multinational and emerging market companies, was nominated a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2007.
