Bart Peterson is to join Lilly as senior vice-president of corporate affairs and communications. He most recently served a semester as resident fellow in the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, taught classes on city government and community planning at Ball State University, and was managing partner of an urban redevelopment fund for Strategic Capital Partners. Mr Peterson also served two terms as mayor of Indianapolis (1999-2007).
