Executive Summary
A patent has been filed by the US drug development management firm PharmaDirections on packaging that stabilises acidic- and alkaline-labile compounds. The process may be useful for products where it is not desirable to develop acid or alkaline stable formulations, the company says. PharmaDirections, which is based on North Carolina's Research Triangle Park, was founded in 2003 to speed the development of products for clients, and it assigns inventions royalty-free to clients when these are produced as part its work.
