COTY DRESSES UP WITH EXCLAMATION NOIR: $5 MIL AD BUDGET will support the flanker women's fragrance with print ads breaking in March editions of women's fashion and beauty magazines and running throughout 1998. Spots for the "sophisticated" women's fragrance, which debuts in March, will be designed by Jerry & Ketchum (New York City). The ads will carry the tagline "Step into the spotlight" and depict a spotlighted female model, whose shadow creates an exclamation mark. The ad spend will be on par with the 1988 launch of the original Exclamation women's scent. The fragrance stable also includes Exclamation Blush, introduced in 1996.
