ESC Medical pays Reliant $7.5 million to settle lawsuit

ESC Medical Systems, an Israeli-based surgical and aesthetic laser company, has settled longstanding litigation between subsidiaries and a competitor laser company, Reliant Technologies. While ESC will pay $7.5 million in cash, it says that the resolution of the legal action clears the way towards making it a better prospect for potential investors.
