Executive Summary
Oxford Nanopore Technologies Ltd. (developer of the MinION, the only portable real-time DNA/RNA sequencer) raised £100mm ($140mm) in a late-stage financing round from GIC, China Construction Bank International, Hostplus, and returning shareholders. The company will use the proceeds for commercial expansion including establishment of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and to build its sales team.
