Oncology firm BeiGene (Beijing) Co. Ltd. raised RMB450mm ($75mm) through what appears to be its first venture financing round. Angel and strategic investors participated, along with new buyers Hillhouse Capital and CITIC PE, as well as an undisclosed US life sciences-focused investment fund.
