Executive Summary
VytronUS Inc. raised $31.6mm through an oversubscribed Series B round. New investor Apple Tree Partners led and was joined by other first-time backers BioStar Ventures, Windham Venture Partners, and Abbott Laboratories, along with returning buyers New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and others. AppleTree and BioStar join VytronUS' board. The company will use the proceeds to continue developing its LICU (Low-Intensity Collimated Ultrasound) cardiac imaging and ablation system for atrial fibrillation.
