Pulmonary disease-focused Airway Therapeutics LLC raised $4.6mm in its Series A financing led by CincyTech, which was joined by Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (from which the company licensed IP to begin operations), Queen City Angels, and private investors. Proceeds will support ongoing development of AT100, a recombinant protein in preclinical studies for bronchopulmonary dysplasia. The firm raised $500k in its June 2011 seed round.
