OBMedical Co. (maternal-fetal monitoring start-up) raised $2.1mm through what appears to be its Series A financing. New World Angels led the oversubscribed round and takes a seat on the board, and was joined by Angel Investment Management Group, Atlanta Technology Angels, Upstate Carolina Angel Network, and the Palmetto Angel 2014 Fund (part of the Upstate Carolina Angel Network).
