Zyga Technology Inc. (minimally invasive surgical solutions for the spine) has raised $25mm in a Series C financing led by first-time backer Versant Ventures, which adds a board member and was joined by returning shareholders Domain Associates, MB Venture Partners, and Split Rock Partners. Funds will support commercialization activities for its SImmetry sacroiliac joint fusion system and ongoing clinical development of the Glyder facet resurfacing device.
