Executive Summary
Molecular Detection Inc. (molecular diagnostics for infectious diseases) has raised $1.5mm in a late-stage financing to returning shareholders MentorTech Ventures, Robin Hood Ventures, Elm Spring Holdings, and the Mid-Atlantic Angel Group. The funds will support ongoing development of new Detect-Ready assays for sepsis and gastrointestinal hospital-based infections.
